Marco Scandroglio nato a Legnano (MI) nel 1950, dopo gli studi all’Istituto Tecnico Industriale, inizia nel 1968 a collaborare con il padre Carlo progettando arredi e layout nel settore arredamento negozi e supermercati : primi supermercati Coop in zona nord Milano oltre a negozi food e non food. Nel 1972 viene fondata linears con sede in Busto Arsizio, Studio specializzato nel progettare e allestire negozi e supermercati. L’attività di progettazione e coordinamento dei lavori di allestimento lo ha impegnato in un continuo aggiornamento frequentando corsi specifici, lettura di libri e riviste, presenza alle fiere di settore, studio di lingue (francese,tedesco,inglese) necessarie per avere rapporti con aziende estere. Dal 73 al 78 lo Studio linears progetta layout con i primi sistemi di arredamento modulare non-food, importati dalla Germania. Negli anni 80 gli allestimenti dei negozi vengono progettati e realizzati in Italia con fornitori a cui viene trasferita l’esperienza di Design linears. In quegli anni scrive articoli su “Il Negozio Moderno”. Dal 1986 progetta e realizza catene di librerie in tutta Italia, prima con Euroclub Italia e dal 2001 con Mondolibri del Gruppo Mondadori, dal 2004 al 2008 con Touring Club Italia e coffee corner per Lavazza. E’ specializzato in progettazione di layout, project management e coordinamento artistico dei lavori di Arch. d’interni per negozi e Farmacie. Nel 1980 entra in AIPI , associazione Italiana progettisti d’interni, interior designers. Per più anni nel Consiglio di Amministrazione di Aipi nei ruoli di Tesoriere, Segretario Generale nel 1993, Presidente nel 2007, Probiviro. Nel 2023 è stato nominato Socio Onorario Socio dal 1997 del Rotary Club B.G.L. Castellanza.

Marco Scandroglio was born in Legnano (Milan) in 1950. After studying at a industrial technical institute, in 1968 he began collaborating with his father Carlo designing layouts for shops and supermarkets, such as the first Coop supermarkets near Milan not to mention other food and non-food stores. Then linears was founded by Marco Scandroglio in 1972 in Busto Arsizio (Varese): a company specialising in shop design. This activity demands that one remains constantly up-to-date by attending specific courses in the field, reading books and trade magazines, attending trade fairs and studying languages (French,German and English) necessary to do business with foreign companies. From 1973 to 1978 linears designed shops using the first non-food shopfittings imported from Germany In the 1980s linears supplied know-how to Italian manufacturers to realise new shopfittings

From 1983 to 1986: Scandroglio published articles in “Il Negozio Moderno”. Since 1986 Scandroglio has designed and realised bookshop chains all over Italy for Euroclub and since 2001 Scandroglio has been designing bookshops for Mondolibri of the Mondadori group. From 2004 to 2008 linears designed bookshops for Touring Club Italia and Lavazza coffee corners. Marco Scandroglio is a specialist in layout design, project management and interior architecture for shops and pharmacies. In 1980 Scandroglio joined AIPI, Italian association of Interior Designers. He was a member of the board of directors as treasurer for many years, Secretary General in 1993, President in 2007 and member of the office of Arbiter. In 2023 he was made an Honorary Member . He has been a member of the B.G.L. Castellanza Rotary Club since 1997.
